1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth. We do not store your Google password.
Reminder Data
Text, context, and scheduling information you provide when creating reminders — including conversation history with the AI assistant used to set up reminders.
Email & Calendar Access
If you connect Gmail or other email services, we access message metadata (sender, subject, date) and optionally message content to extract follow-up context. We never store full email bodies beyond what is needed to process your requested reminder.
Usage & Technical Data
Log data, IP addresses, browser type, device information, pages visited, and feature interactions collected automatically to improve service reliability and performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session securely.
- Create, schedule, and deliver reminders via your selected channels (email, SMS, WhatsApp, etc.).
- Power the AI assistant to understand your instructions and generate accurate reminders.
- Analyze usage patterns in aggregate to improve product features and fix bugs.
- Send transactional emails (reminder delivery confirmations, account notices). We do not send marketing emails without explicit consent.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Google & Email Integrations
AutoRemind.ai uses Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication and, optionally, the Gmail API to read email context for reminder creation. Our use of data obtained through Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we access
Only the email threads you explicitly reference when creating a reminder. We do not scan your inbox in bulk, index your emails, or use email content for advertising.
Revoking access
You can revoke AutoRemind.ai's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions. Revoking access stops future email-based reminder creation but does not delete existing data.
4. AI Processing
AutoRemind.ai uses large language models (LLMs) provided by third-party AI providers to process your natural-language instructions and extract reminder details. The text you send to the AI assistant — including any email context you share — may be transmitted to these providers for processing.
What is shared
Only the specific message or context necessary to complete your request. We do not share your name, email address, or account identifier with AI providers beyond anonymous session tokens.
Training data
We do not permit our AI providers to use your data to train their general-purpose models. Any agreements with AI providers include data processing terms that restrict secondary use.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
Infrastructure partners (hosting, database, email delivery) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
AI Providers
LLM APIs used to process your instructions, subject to their own data handling policies and our data processing agreements with them.
Reminder Delivery Channels
Third-party services (e.g. Twilio for SMS, WhatsApp Business API) receive only the data necessary to deliver your scheduled reminder.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.
Business Transfers
If AutoRemind.ai is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred. We will notify you via email before any such transfer.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Specific retention periods:

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize all personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, OAuth 2.0 for authentication, and role-based access controls within our infrastructure.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you discover a security vulnerability, please disclose it responsibly to yaseen@autoremind.ai.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have specific rights over your personal data under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws:
- Access:Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction:Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion:Request deletion of your account and data ("right to be forgotten").
- Portability:Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Restriction:Request that we limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
- Objection:Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.

10. Children's Privacy
AutoRemind.ai is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us at yaseen@autoremind.ai and we will delete it immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of AutoRemind.ai after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
