Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth. We do not store your Google password.

Reminder Data

Text, context, and scheduling information you provide when creating reminders, including conversation history with the AI assistant used to set up reminders.

Email & Calendar Access

If you connect Gmail or other email services, we access message metadata (sender, subject, date) and optionally message content to extract follow-up context. We never store full email bodies beyond what is needed to process your requested reminder.

Usage & Technical Data

Log data, IP addresses, browser type, device information, pages visited, and feature interactions collected automatically to improve service reliability and performance.

What we access

Only the email threads you explicitly reference when creating a reminder. We do not scan your inbox in bulk, index your emails, or use email content for advertising.

Revoking access

You can revoke autoremind.ai's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions. Revoking access stops future email-based reminder creation but does not delete existing data.

Google Limited Use Disclosure

autoremind.ai's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We do not sell, license, or otherwise commercialize Google user data to any third party under any circumstances.
• We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
• We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than providing or improving autoremind.ai's user-facing features. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to: targeted advertising, selling to data brokers, providing to information resellers, determining credit-worthiness, lending purposes, and training AI or machine-learning models.
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties unless it is (a) necessary to provide or improve user-facing features visible to the user, (b) needed to comply with applicable laws, or (c) part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, and only with prior notice to users and where the receiving party agrees to the same Limited Use restrictions.
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless (a) we have your affirmative consent, (b) it is necessary for security purposes or to investigate abuse, (c) it is needed to comply with applicable law, or (d) the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

What is shared with OpenAI

Only the specific message or context necessary to complete your request. We do not share your name, email address, or account identifier with OpenAI beyond anonymous session tokens. Google user data is never sent to OpenAI unless you explicitly include it in your conversation with the AI assistant.

Training data

By default, OpenAI does not use data submitted via the OpenAI API to train or improve its general-purpose models. We have expressly opted out of any such use. We do not permit OpenAI, or any other AI provider, to use your data, including any Google user data, to train general-purpose models. Our agreement with OpenAI includes data processing terms that prohibit secondary use, resale, or retention of your data beyond what is necessary to fulfil your request.

Data residency

Data sent to the OpenAI API is processed on OpenAI's infrastructure in the United States. By using autoremind.ai, you acknowledge that your instruction text may be transferred to the US for AI processing, in accordance with OpenAI's standard API terms.
