Mixmax is a sales email workspace. Its help centre says it works with Gmail and Outlook and no other provider. It covers templates, sequences, open and click tracking, meeting booking, CRM integrations and rules that act when something happens, such as posting an alert to a Slack channel.

For follow-ups, Mixmax works the way most sequence tools do: you set up the steps, the delays and the copy (or have the AI Sequence Builder draft them on Engagement Copilot), and the sequence runs until the contact replies. That is a good model when you send the same sequence to many people. It is a lot of setup when you are chasing one client about one invoice.
What autoremind.ai Does
autoremind.ai does follow-ups and nothing else. You write one sentence, for example "Follow up with Obaid on invoice #1042, it's 7 days overdue." It then:
- writes each follow-up, firmer than the last: professional, then firm, then urgent
- sends them from your own Gmail, in the original thread
- stops when the person replies, at most four messages per reminder
- lets you edit, pause or cancel a reminder at any time
Replies are detected without reading your inbox: each follow-up carries a tracked address in the reply path. Slack is supported for chasing teammates, where the chase itself arrives as a Slack message.
What it does not have: templates, open tracking, meeting booking, CRM sync, team seats, Outlook (planned) or Microsoft Teams.
